Unai Peo / Ladder Beach - is a secluded pocket beach on the southern coast of Saipan, framed by steep limestone cliffs and accessible only by a staircase descending from a small parking area above. Its shore is composed of white sand mixed with coral rubble, and beneath the cliffs are natural sea-carved caves where visitors often shelter from sun or rain. Ladder Beach is valued for its dramatic scenery, clear-water, occasional fishing, and its quiet, natural charm. A stark contrast to more developed tourist beaches on the island.
