Unai Fanonchuluyan / Bird Island Beach - lies on Saipan’s northeastern coast adjacent to Bird Island. The surrounding waters and reef are protected as part of the Bird Island Marine Sanctuary, a “no-take” zone established to conserve marine life and seabird habitat. The adjacent land area belongs to the Bird Island Wildlife Conservation Area, safeguarding coastal vegetation and nesting sites for seabirds and endemic birds. Access is via a rough dirt road and jungle path, making it a relatively undeveloped, natural shoreline.
